Valeri Bocage was living in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina before moving to California.  She vowed to put her energy and efforts into helping the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans to overcome and build back stronger.  In so doing, she founded Powerful Women International with a strong group of women who are helping her do just that.  Additionally, the organization tackles issues relating to the UN SDGs.  In the last couple of months, Valeri and her team decided (with the help and endorsement of New Orleans officials) that a Prayer Event to bring about unity would be a great step in the right direction for the community.  The idea quickly grew beyond New Orleans into other areas of the United States and beyond.  In this podcast, Valeri shares more about the event and how you can participate on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.  The prayer is about peace and unity and an open call no matter your preference for worship.
