Sarah Perreard of Earth Action Puts Research to Work for Circular Economy

Sarah Perreard is a founder (Plasteax-plastic environmental analytics) and a leader in the environmental services consultancy, Earth Action. She understands the value of research and data to motivate real progress for climate action through correcting pathways to a greater circular economy. Her concerns over plastic pollution launched her on a corporate-to-consultancy journey in 2019 that has found roots in a space where few find them. Her work in consultancy helps corporate clients, governments, and NGOs understand how to utilize data to make changes and create policy…even lifting the lid on funding buckets. Her ability to take thought-leadership and research to action through an event like Plastic Overshoot Day shows us all that whatever information does to point us in the right direction, nothing will happen until we make it happen.

In this episode:

Sarah shares a bit about her journey and what she and her team are doing to create greater awareness and activity around circular economy. She tells us what partners she needs to advance research and what new area of focus they’ll be working on in November of 2024.
