She fundraises and develops programs and events that will support educational  interests and inspire fresh ideas within the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) community.  Her work centers in the San Francisco area where technology thrives and innovation is abundant, and, while Angela is well aware of the assets around her, she is solidly founded on the principles of impact. She brings her whole self to the negotiating table when it comes to advocacy for the students and the experiences she wants for them.  Those experiences won’t happen without a fat address book and some fantastic donors who help her in seeing that it all gets done.  Angela talks about her background, the work ahead, and some special events coming up with host, Mary Kurek, and  co-host, Terry Briggs, a huge advocate for HBCUs and Angela’s efforts.
